I really want to read the outlander series but I’m afraid than being
english my second language it would be difficult for me to read it. I could
read it in my mother language, but I can’t imagine how would Jamie sound in
my head in scottish-portuguese (it would sound… Horrible, most likely).
So, my question is: is it dificult to read outlander in english if english
    is not your first language?

I’m with you girl. Got hooked on the books after starting the awesome tv
show! And I can’t stand the fact that we’re going to have to wait over 6
months for the rest of the season.. I mean, I can’t contain myself until
every Saturday night!! At least the books are so big that they keep me
busy. I’m currently into Voyager right now.

I just finished the first book and I’m not sure if I should continue on
with the series. I’ve never read historical fiction before and things got a
little confusing because I’m not clear with the facts about the war at all.
Then there was some triggering themes in the 1st book that made me a little
anxious. Also *MAJOR SPOILER* I peaked at the other books and basically
know that arc of the romance and heard they break up? Uhghh opinions?
    Should I continue?

LOL I’m 29 and to me it’s a bit funny to see all of you guys going nuts
over these books the first of which I listened to in middle school on
audiotape (as in Cassette Tapes like 30 of them!) I loved it then and still
    do now.

It actually has me wondering when you will all go nuts about Clan of the
Cave Bear series by Jean M. Auel

  5. Emilie Kearney می‌گوید:

Question!! So I’m big into fantasy novels and this is on my to read list
but for some reason I started watching the TV series before I read it,
something I never do! And I really don’t like the woman who plays Claire.
She just bugs me and now I don’t feel like reading the book! So…people
who have read the book. .. is it worth it?? Is book Claire better than TV
    Claire??

Will you be doing a spoilery review of Outlander? That’s okay if you can’t.
By the way, I’m reading Outlander TV Show tie-in so it’s 864 pages. I’m on
around page 150. It’s getting SO GOOD SO FAR. You’re right; the slow parts
make you want to read on, because THEY are good, too!

First time watching a video of you and I already subscribed, very good
    review.

I watched the first part of the season, It is soo good that I probably
going to read the books after you say good things about it.

I’m sorry my bad English, It isn’t my first language.

*Just read this book and OH MY BLOODY HELL COW, it was amazing! I just
loved this book so much! Thank u sasha for making me read this…It was
boring at the begining but that part when Jamie punish Claire :0000 It was
like: What the heck? xd SO GOOD*

  9. E. Jamie می‌گوید:

The Outlander series is a fantastic transition into adult fiction. Bravo!
Can you imagine how amazing the last half is going to be (including
Wentworth *sniffles*) played out on screen??? Oh, and just a note to help
you out with the Heughan hotness (I still need to get my own Pocket Jamie!
Lol!) The ‘g’ is silent. It’s actually pronounced ‘Hew-an’ if that helps.
    :)
